The New Year holidays are not over yet. Someone else will celebrate Christmas on the old date, someone will celebrate the Old New Year, and someone just wants to pamper themselves with goodies. If you are looking for recipes for delicious salads for the holiday, pay attention to this recipe. Salad with smoked chicken and mushrooms turns out to be very tasty and appetizing. It is much more interesting than the classic Olivier and Fur Coat.

Ingredients Needed:

  • smoked ham hocks – 2 pcs;
  • eggs – 3 pcs.;
  • potatoes – 2 pcs.;
  • pickled mushrooms – 150 g;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • green onions – 1 bunch;
  • salt, pepper, mayonnaise to taste.

Method of preparation:

Boil the potatoes in their jackets until tender and cool. Hard-boiled eggs.

Cut 2 small smoked legs into small cubes. The leg can be replaced with smoked fillet, but it is drier. Put the chopped meat in a salad bowl. Pickled mushrooms are cut into cubes and transferred to the meat. Mushrooms are not small, cut into fairly large pieces.

Grate boiled potatoes and eggs on a coarse grater and transfer to the rest of the ingredients.

Cut the hard cheese into small cubes and transfer to a salad bowl. Finely chop the green onions and add to the rest of the ingredients.

Season the salad with mayonnaise, add salt, pepper and mix thoroughly.

If you want to make the salad lighter, you can season it with sour cream by adding a spoonful of mustard.

The finished salad is immediately served to the table. You can lay it out in a beautiful round shape using a pastry ring.

The salad turns out to be quite satisfying, but at the same time tender and spicy. It is slightly reminiscent of traditional Olivier, but has a brighter flavor.
